Magnetism: Magnet Bouncer Class Kit

We at STEAMboat Studio want every child to have the opportunity for fun and engaging hands-on STEAM learning experiences, especially in the classroom.

This interactive kit allows learners to explore magnetic forces, attraction, repulsion, and the basics of magnetic fields through playful experimentation. Each student will use what they have learned about magnetic forces to build a magnet bouncer. Watch students light up as they experiment, ask questions, and uncover the secrets of this invisible force!

This kit includes a NGSS standards aligned printed lesson plan that includes vocabulary, science background, and activity instructions, as well as supplies needed for a class of 30 students.

We recommend these activities for K to 8th grade. Differentiation in the form of more advanced prep or hands-on assistance for younger students or more detailed explanations for older students may be necessary.
