Storybook Science: Jumping

We at STEAMboat Studio want every child to have the opportunity for fun and engaging hands-on STEAM learning experiences, especially in the classroom.

Start by reading an engaging picture book, and then discover the push and pull that happens as frogs, crickets, and you, jump!

This kit includes a NGSS standards aligned printed lesson plan that includes vocabulary, science background and activity instructions, as well as supplies needed for a class of 30 students.

We recommend these activities for Kindergarten to 4th grade. Differentiation in the form of more advanced prep or hands-on assistance for younger students or more detailed explanations for older students may be necessary.
